Amanda Matz, DPM

Dr. Matz has been dedicated to podiatry in Auburn, California, since 2007, focusing on keeping her patients' feet healthy for a lifetime. Originally from Dubuque, Iowa, she earned her B.S. in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She then pursued her Doctorate at Des Moines University, College of Podiatric Medicine, before completing a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dr. Matz is an active member of the Sutter Independent Physicians Organization, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the California Podiatric Medical Association. She holds privileges at both Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital and Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

She values the diverse range of patients she serves, from toddlers to centenarians. Outside of her practice, Dr. Matz enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, swimming, and engaging in crafting.

Dr. Matz's philosophy on foot care centers around the belief that preventive medicine is the best approach. She is dedicated to helping patients maintain healthy feet through proactive care, aiming to prevent issues before they arise rather than solely addressing problems as they occur. This preventive mindset helps ensure long-term foot health and overall well-being.
